He is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland (geography major), is a licensed hunting and fishing guide, is expert in map and compass wilderness navigation, and has a lifetime of passionate experience in the Newfoundland backcountry as a skier, hiker, camper, expedition guide, kayaker, photographer and birdwatcher.
This site provides clients with the opportunity to purchase printed trail guides for selected regions of the west coast of Newfoundland so that they may undertake hikes and expeditions without a personal guide. All guides are written from actual field experience by Clarence Pelley.
